
Here is the information for email settings using OPQ’s mail servers.
You can go ahead and access your OPQ-hosted email through your CPanel portal directly.
You will need the settings below to set up your email client (Outlook, etc.), laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc. These details are also available via your CPanel portal.
Login credentials required for both sending and receiving email:
username = your full email address, e.g., somebody@yourdomain.co.bw
password = your password
Make sure these are entered correctly.
Incoming email settings (Receive):
Account Type = IMAP
Incoming mail server e.g.: = mail.yourdomain.co.bw
The incoming server (IMAP) requires authentication.
Set the connection type to use SSL
Change the port number to: IMAP = 993
Outgoing email settings (Send):
Outgoing mail server (SMTP:) e.g.= mail.yourdomain.co.bw
The outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
Set the connection type to use SSL or SSL/TLS
Change “Outgoing server (SMTP)” port number to 465
