PLEASE SEE AN UPDATE FROM OUR UPSTREAM PROVIDER
This communication is to inform you that BoFiNet is currently experiencing congestion and severe service degradation resulting from multiple fibre cuts around Game City, Gaborone due to contractor works. The fibre cuts are on a major backbone route and the other on arterial route servicing some ISPs.
Additionally, there is another fibre break on the alternative route to the north between Molepolole and Sojwe due to acts of vandalism. While traffic has re-routed to alternative routes, all efforts are expended to have services fully operational in the next few hours.
